I have been very lazy for the last few days ,but i am back with a vengence.I really liked Heath Ledger sorry he died .
i have a better story thou the cat that DIDN’T die .
Just before christmas i agreed to house sit for my friend Mike while he went to Florida ,not really house sit but stop in a few times a week to feed the cats and bird.
The first night i went(to pick up the keys and stuff) his friend Laurie was there and told me that one of the cats had suddenly died and she had buried it in the back yard,so I would only have one cat and one bird to feed.It was our friend Jan’s cat Romeo and she was just heartbroken.I didn’t know Romeo but being a cat lover I was also very sad about the whole deal.New Years Day ,Jan’s roomate comes and picks up the cat and bird so now i am alone, and have nothing to watch except his huge TV and microwave oven.
34 days later I get a phone call from Mike and he tells me he is back and did I notice anything unusual about the house when I was there. I told him no ,it all seemed normal.He says that when he got home Romeo was in the basement ALIVE!!!!!.
My response was “didn’t she bury it in the back yard?” I am still not totally clear on this but evidently Laurie had never seen Romeo so when she got home there was a dead cat on the rug she assumed that it was Romeo , so she buried it.Romeo freaked out by the dead cat ran into the basement and got locked in.
he spent 34 days in the basement and although bone thin was not much the worse for wear there had to be some meeses down there or something .he ate a can of tuna and some beef and is now home with his mom
